Mission Statement

Asheville Performing Arts Laboratory Inc (APAL) will play a vital role in enriching the cultural landscape of Western North Carolina. With a mission to bring fine arts to schools and the community, APAL will be instrumental in fostering creativity, imagination, collaborations, and aspirations through its’ live performances and innovative arts education programs. By providing access to high-quality performing arts experiences, APAL contributes to the cultural development of the region, leaving a lasting impact on the lives of individuals and the community as a whole. APAL is the parent corporation of Daniel Hensley’s Voice Studio, DH Vocal Studio Research and Scholarship Fun, and WNC Choir-Con.
